Microblading

What exactly is Microblading?

It is a form of semi-permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using different size blades and fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments in the cuts made by those blades. The cuts should be fine and not too deep so they do not create permanent scarring.

How long does Microblading last?

It generally lasts 8-18 months depending on skin type, and age.  Most microbladers insist that clients return for a “retouch” 6 weeks to 2 months after the initial appointment to perfect the brow and to see how the dye has taken; if it has changed color, faded, etc.

Does Microblading hurt?

Not all numbing cream is created equally.  At Primp we use a triple numbing cream and then send clients home with after care ointment.  Most clients feel little to no discomfort.

Who can do microblading?

Anyone who is trained can do it.  Courses run from 2 days to 5 months.  This is why you should schedule a consultation with an artist and look at their work.  Not every Microblader is created equal and a bad job can be very difficult to fix.

How long does Microblading take?

From the initial arrival, to walking out the door, you should plan on at least 2 hours.

We hope this has helped with your decision.  Should you have any other questions, please call Primp Full Service Salon at 321-972-3906
